Christmas Projects

Project ONE: Wainscoting

The Bastian boys were hard at work! Neal and Marc were busy working to help their Dad with a project in the living and dining room... it looked AWESOME when they finished nailing up on the wall. I was very impressed with their handy skills!!

Project TWO

I had some "Mother Daughter Bonding" this Christmas as I learned how to make fancy pants pillow for my couch. This is the second time I have made these pillows... I really wanted to have the cording on the side of the pillows and thank heavens that my mom is a pro! I would have ROYALLY messed them up! I think she (and I) did a great job if I do say so myself! I was in charge of supervision and she was the sewing maniac.. although my contribution was sewing the seams closed by hand. I know, Poor Michelle! But don't they look so cute! I love them!

Project Three

My sister Paula (super creative) wanted to start a "family cookbook" and for Christmas I was going to send them my favorite recipes as a gift... Well I finally finished 60 recipe cards (10x6 Orchard Ladies) Jan 2nd... I was a little late but I feel that I accomplished a bear of a project! And they are cute I must say :)

This is the conclusion of one busy and fun Christmas!!
